Reunited and It Feels So Good

Reunion #2! Nineteen years after graduating eighth grade, a few people from my grade school class made an attempt to hold a reunion while I was in town. How thoughtful! The downside was that out of our 30-something students, only six of us were able to make it. And two of those people are Kim and Linda, two of my best friends. Oh well, we made the best of it!

What better place to be? Kim says, "Welcome to the Blessed Sacrament School gym!"
Tim and Alex catch up with a yearbook. Not the pubescent 13-year-olds I remember.I hadn't seen these girls in....three days. They hadn't changed a bit!
This was sad news. We noticed that the interior of the gym hasn't been updated since we left. It's heartbreaking to see that there's no money in Catholic education. Or, someone hasn't been able to make a big fat donation.
I do remember that sign put up during the last years that we were there.
The bingo screen! I remember this! Lots o' memories of entering the gym doors and seeing it.
Our classmate, Kirk Ericson, gave us personality tests for a study he's doing in Psychology. He's already administered it to 1,600 people. I'm an INFJ and a number 9 (peacemaker), but I kinda already knew that.
Kim's an INSJ. They say friends are usually one letter apart. It was meant to be, Kim!
Tim brought all his yearbooks. Dig out the memories and let's start making fun of people!
We had such a really fun time reminiscing about the good ol' days. I think the final consensus was that we had a very happy, healthy time together as a class. We couldn't stop laughing!
We were rebels and toured the school. No hall pass! I think they shrank it down. Or, we just got bigger.
It kinda felt like Toon Town or like some play school.
We pretended like we were taking a class shot. Where's the class of 91 sign?
They're planning to hold a 20-year in 2011, so maybe I'll be lucky enough to catch everyone else next year. Who knows, but we had so much fun this time. I have to say, I often reflect on my lower school education and think positively of how I was raised. We were a very tight group where I came out with some special friendships. Thank you, Blessed Sacrament School!
