Today, we bought a cake the size of Paloma to celebrate.
Who says newborns don't smile?
We like to take her out for a walk every now and then to acquaint her with the city sounds.
These cries used to make us nervous, especially since Paloma knows how to scream. We respond to her cries, but they're not so scary anymore.
Skin-on-skin contact at its best. Which magazine should we send this to?
Fernando's face, my hair and eyes? We can never decide.
Yeah, we're tight.
All babies love baths - so I thought. It's been hit or miss lately.
We like the 'hawk.
Since Paloma likes motion, we tested out her new baby carrier. Not her thing for now.

She's so precious Justine! Glad you and hubby had this month together to bond with her.
Here's another picture idea for you two shutterbugs: a friend of mine took a picture of her firstborn lying beside a stuffed turtle. Every month, for the first year, they took a picture of their son with the turtle. They sent it out so we could see the little guy's progress.
It was quite something to see the turtle that once was much bigger than Ryan become dwarfed by him.
She's a good mix of both of you. Good lungs eh? Maybe she'll be a singer ;-) .
