The Lungs of Barcelona

Today we went to the Parc de Collserola, a vast stretch of green nearby Barcelona that covers over 32 square miles, being the largest metropolitan park in the world. That's 22 times the size of Central Park in New York.
The park is used extensively for walking, cycling and birdwatching.
You never know where the steps lead you.
It looks like winter has helped these acorns fall to the ground.
Barren trees line this lengthy path to the unknown.
We saw a few people carrying walking sticks, so we found some of our own.
How old could this tree be?
A museum resides in this pleasure garden.
Not too far, we enjoyed the sun and drinks at a parkside cafe.
I'm looking huge lately. Our little girl was kicking all day.
We just covered a smidgen of the green area. Now that it looks like spring is here to stay, we'll have a relaxing picnic next time we visit.
